When the diesel cylinders of the Weifang diesel generator set are idling, the following methods are used to check the operation of the engine:
(1) Listening method: Use a stethoscope or stick, approach the body part of the syringe, and listen for the sound of each cylinder bursting. The normal sound of metal tapping is similar to a "dang dang" sound. If there is only 'good', it is not only a sound row, but also the time when tanks with little or no oil catch fire, as indicated by the sound of drums and gongs, indicating that the oil cylinder has been injected too much or too early.
(2) Color legal concept: When the engine is working normally, with light gray emissions, high load, and a bit deep. If black gas is emitted, it indicates incomplete combustion of combustible gas. The lubricating oil with blue flame enters the cylinder for combustion. White smoke industry, then in diesel generators, the combustible gases burned are also white smoke industry. Continuous emission of exhaust gases with unusual colors indicates that the personal cylinder is not functioning properly.
(3) Temperature sensing method: In the initial stage after starting the diesel generator (after working for a period of time, the exhaust pipe temperature is very high, and touching it with your hand may cause burns), touch the temperature of each cylinder's exhaust pipe with your hand to identify the working condition of each cylinder. If the temperature of the exhaust pipe of each cylinder is higher than that of other cylinders, it indicates that the fuel supply of that cylinder is too high; If the temperature is low, the fuel supply of the cylinder is low, or there is no fuel injection, or there is incomplete combustion or no combustion after fuel injection.
(4) Pulse method: Pinch the high-pressure fuel pipe tightly with your hand and feel the pulsation during fuel injection. The pulsation is small, the explosion sound is weak, and the fuel supply of the cylinder with low temperature is relatively small. Abnormal explosion sound and high temperature are caused by a decrease in fuel injection pressure of the injector, poor fuel atomization, or failure to ignite and burn completely in a timely manner. The cylinder with high pulsation, strong explosion sound, and high temperature has a larger fuel supply. Weak explosion sound and low temperature indicate that the fuel injector hole or needle valve is stuck.
(5) Fuel cut-off method: In order to accurately determine which cylinder has a fault, the high-pressure oil pipe can be cut off cylinder by cylinder to the fuel injector oil circuit, that is, stop working, to observe the changes in the working condition of the diesel generator. When cutting off the oil circuit of a certain cylinder, if there is no or little change in the speed and sound of the diesel generator, it indicates that the cylinder is working normally. If the fault disappears after cutting off the oil circuit of a certain cylinder during intermittent tapping and black smoke emission, it indicates that the fault is in that cylinder.
