Analysis of the Reasons for Water Leakage in Weifang Diesel Generator Sets

Recently, we received a report from a user that the cylinder head outlet pipe, water pump, water tank, and drain switch of Weifang diesel generator set have all experienced water leakage within less than 3 months of use. factory to analyze the reasons for this phenomenon as follows:

Fault analysis:

This type of malfunction is usually caused by the operator adding corrosive coolant or seawater to the water radiator of the diesel engine.

Reason for malfunction:

1. The operator added seawater to the cooling water radiator, causing damage to the internal water channels and external interfaces of the diesel engine. Therefore, when using a diesel engine, it is necessary to strictly follow the various regulations of the diesel engine.

2. The antifreeze added to the radiator by the operator is highly corrosive, causing damage to the water channel

components of the diesel engine.

Troubleshooting methods:

1. Dismantle the damaged components in the diesel engine, rinse the radiator and internal water channels of the engine with fresh water, and replace the damaged diesel engine components.

2. After assembly, adjustment, and testing, it was found that the diesel engine had returned to normal and the fault was eliminated.
